Heather Kennedy’s career narrative has been defined by the maverick and the unconventional having started her career in music before channeling her creativity into the world of marketing communications and management. She has a talent for discovering new talent and unearthing opportunities with proven commercial ability in building brands and businesses online over the past decade.

Heather has been at the vanguard of challenging clients and brands across multiple categories to embrace a digitally led future, providing strategic leadership, becoming an authoritative voice on digital matters in the Irish marketing media and beyond.   She launched AFA Advertising’s direct marketing arm in 2000, following which she moved into commercial space as chief marketing officer for online trading firm Delta Index. In 2003 she move back into the agency space heading up Ireland’s largest digital advertising agency Bluecube Interactive in 2008, followed by leading branding agency Tank/Huguenot before launching CDO’s unique market offering in 2011.

Heather is Ireland’s only IAPI and AAI accredited pitch consultant focused in the digital space.

Heather is also a Mentor to Enterprise Ireland’s high potential start-ups on marketing and technology issues and is member of the Board of directors of the National Ballet of Ireland, Ballet Ireland.

dervla cunninghamDervla Cunningham’s 

Dervla Cunningham has been working in Internet technologies since 1998. She co-founded two successful Internet businesses – Zartis.com and Arekibo Communications. Zartis was in eBusiness Solutions company that was founded in 1998 and was sold to a Boston-based eCommerce solution provider Breakaway Solutions for Irl£18m. She then co-founded Arekibo Communications in 2001 (www. arekibo.com) and headed up Sales for 6 years bringing in household named clients.  This is now recognised as one of Ireland’s leading digital agencies with a staff of over 40. She co-founded a Web 2.0 jobs board for project and part time professional work in 2007 called Flexitimers which was very positively received by the market and professionals. It was marketed on a shoestring budget employing social media heavily. It was covered in all the national and trade press. However, launching in March 09 was not good and this venture has ceased trading. Dervla has also worked in Sales for the database giant Oracle and in International Marketing for US-based database company InterSystems.  She began her career working for Fergal Quinn in Superquinn and still believes in using many of the business methods she learnt there. More recently she has helped over a dozen start ups formulate their killer sales & marketing strategy what pain and gain they solve for companies.
